Three Years and Counting...

September 28, 2008
Three Years!!! I always kid my students that forever is a very long time. We were blessed 3 years ago when our friends and family made our Wedding happen on September 8, 2005. That day will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we know that Mom Morrow was happy to see her last child happily married.

Life has been quite a whirlwind since that day. We lost mom to lung cancer on September 26, 2005, and at the same time were busy planning our Wedding for October 15, 2005.

I took a job at Spectrum High school in Elk River, MN teaching High School Math in the fall of 2006. Our house had not sold in Owatonna, MN so we lived with the Connolly Parents for a school year. We wanted to be on our own though so we found a foreclosure home that we have been fixing since February 1, 2007. It has definitely been quite the adventure and we long for the day we move in which we plan for September 1, 2010. Because we couldn't live in our house we lived in an RV in the driveway for the summer of 07'. In the fall of 07' we moved into a one bedroom apartment in Princeton, MN in a 1920's building in the center of town. God has truly humbled us and shown us how to be thankful for anything no matter what we have or the circumstances we may be in, a very hard lesson to learn, and one we work on everyday.

Patrick took a job at Two Stooges Bar and Grill doing the marketing. It didn't take long for him to realize that it was not where God wanted him to be. He started doing web design and marketing for the school I work at, Spectrum. He also taught a web design course. Patrick taught all computer classes the 07'-08' school year. He realized that education is where God had been directing him to. He started finishing up his pre-requisites for the Masters of Education program at the University of Minnesota and started the full program Summer of 08'. It is a very intense rigorous 1 year program. He will be student teaching at Spectrum in March 09' and have his English License May 09'.

In Patrick's free time which seems to be few and far between. He coaches the PACT girls volleyball team, take a peak at his website: http://www.morrowpublishing.net/index.html

Three years have come and gone. There have been good times and bad times as everyone experiences. With God's help and strength we have grown stronger in our marriage and we thank God for each other everyday!
